Artisan Make 'n' Take

Hope to see lots of people at the show next week - you must come to the stand and say hello.

Believe it or not it's the first Make 'n' Take I've done (yes, I'm a Make 'n' Take virgin!!) so you'll all have to be on your best behaviour LOL! Including me - that'll be difficult! They're half hour slots so my project's very quick. I think you might have to book, not sure yet.

There'll to be other CS contributors there as well which'll be fun as I'll get to meet them too.

If I'm not on the stand it'll be because I'm trying not to spend too much money elsewhere! I'm sure I'll see some stamps I just have to have!

Here are some more pics of ATCs - I think I'm a bit addicted!
The first two use Oxford Impression stamps from LBCrafts - The Art of Being Beautiful and Field Notes.

These ones use Crafty Individual bird stamps:

This last one uses a dragonfly from Inkadinkado Morphic Bugs and the quote is from Artistic Outpost stamps (love those) from Happy Daze:

Enjoy!

Artisan Craft Show

Artisan Craft Show 3rd and 4th October Warwick Exhibition Centre.

I'm busy getting some stuff ready for this show as I'm doing a Make 'n' Take on the Craft Stamper stand on the Saturday afternoon. It's going to involve Elusive Images stamps, glossy cardstock and bright colours!! More I cannot say! But I think my slot's at about 2pm if you want to come and have a look.

We're also going to be swapping ATCs so I've been ATC-ing for England and now have a respectable pile - I've even made a tin to put them in:

Here are some pictures of a few of them - they use all sorts of stamps, papers, embellishments etc.

I'll show you some more over the next few days!

I've gone all inky!

My blog background that is! As you can see, I've been playing around with my blog - found this great one that looks very inky! It was on the Blogger Template site. Great fun - I spent ages looking and only got about halfway through! If it keeps changing, you know why!
Thought I'd also show you some more Christmas cards, this time using the Elusive Images Damask Reindeer plate. I love this big stamp as you don't have to do much to create a great card!
This first card is literally stamped onto glossy white card stock and coloured with Memento inkpads. I then added some white pen to highlight:

The second card turned out kind of misty as I used the second impression when stamping. I wasn't worried if it all came out perfectly or not. I then used Adirondack Lights to colour it in.

I've stamped round the edge with the flourish from the Snowflake Flourish plate. The rub-ons are some white ones grom Kaisercraft that I lightly rubbed over with a Vibrant Violet StazOn inkpad to tone down.
Cheers!

An Elusive Christmas

Now, I'm determined to be a better blogger, so thought I'd show you a couple of the cards I made with the new Elusive Images Christmas Stamps.
The stamps for these come from the
Harlequin Christmas plate.

This first card was stamped onto a pre-sprayed Glimmer Mist background and at first glance I thought "what on earth am I going to do with that?" (I have lots of those moments!)
The colours weren't really very Christmassy but I layered it up onto two colours of card, stamped with that great diamond pattern. Then I dug out a metal shape from an old necklace and stamped onto that with a word from a quote on the Damask Reindeer plate.
This second card embosses the whole image in gold onto a red and orange sprayed piece of card. it's layered up onto a piece of Artylicious paper from the new Decadent Brocade CD.

The dome is covered with a little ornament charm turned upside down.

Enjoy!

Long time no post!

I know, I haven't posted for aaaaaaaaaaaaaages! In actual fact I haven't really had anything to say or show - no show and tell as they say at primary school!

However I happened to get into a workshop with Linda Brown from lbcrafts on Saturday and had such fun that I promised I'd post what we made.

It was a first for me as I've never done metalwork before (definitely addictive) and, believe it or not, never done a workshop before!

What was really funny was that I met Jo Capper Sandon there who also writes for Craft Stamper! Also lots of other lovely ladies whose names I recognised.

Anyway, Lin did a great class and we made a little frame in a book:

All the stamps are PaperArtsy and we used the Ten Second Studio range of metal tools all available from lbcrafts

Cheers!
