Extravaganza extravagance...

Well, I'm just getting the last things ready for the Extravaganza, trying to make sure I don't forget anything (fat chance of that!) and wondering what I'm going to put it all in!
The hardest thing is to work out how to display the artwork so that it doesn't take up too much room on the table, 'cos those who've seen me demo know that I need lots of space as I make a lot of MESS!
Anyway, thought I'd post a few more pics of what I'm doing - Lynne Perrella, Crafty Individuals and lots of Pebeo products:

I've also got a couple of things that I'm not demoing but have just decorated for fun - you'll have to come along to see those!

I hope you can come along - looking forward to seeing you.

Oriental Lynne Perrella...

In my previous post I said I was going to be demoing these new stamps at the Craft Barn Extravaganza along with Pebeo glass paints.
I've used the glass paints to colour in the background (the DD method - Dropping and Dabbing!) and then also used them to add highlights by painting on thicker.
Here's one of the samples I made:

It's great to have another way of adding colour to your project. You can actually 'colour in', as on the leaves here, by dropping on the paint with a cocktail stick and then drawing it out. Come along and see it all in the flesh.
There's going to be 25 demonstrators so there's something for everyone.

Thanks for looking!

Shimmering Crafty Individuals...

It's that time of year again .... I'm busy beavering away for the Craft Barn Extravaganza on the 1st and 2nd of June.
This year I'm going to be demoing different things on each day so that those of you who come along for the weekend have got lots to see. I'm going to demo the new Lynne Perrella stamps on one day and then Crafty Individuals stamps on the other (don't know which order yet). On both days I'm going to be combining them with Pebeo products.
If you haven't seen the new Pebeo iridescent paints yet then you're in for a treat - they are gorgeous!

It's very difficult to pick up the sheen on these paints in a photo - you have to see them in the flesh. These are just three of the colours, there are others as well!
Here I've used them with stencils, lots of them, layering over and over and then used one of the new Crafty Individual stamp sets ( CI- 383) over the top:

This stencilling is seriously fun!

Thanks for looking!

Lynne Perrella and glass paints

There are a few places left for this workshop I'm doing up at the Craft Barn on Saturday so if you're interested in trying out stamping and glass paints then just give the shop a ring.I would give you a sneak peek of what we'll be making but I forgot to take piccies! It involves Tando arches, Vitrail glass paints, Lynne's stamps, gesso, cocktail sticks and more!

Thanks for looking!
