I could have danced all night....

As it's the last day of February and the February Challenge over on the Crafty Individuals blog, I thought I'd better post this tag (I know - I'm late!!!):

It uses CI-337 with Gelatos in my favourite colours and the Crafters Workshop 6x6 Confetti template. Instead of using black for my silhouette which seemed a bit harsh, I've used StazOn Midnight Blue with black pencil rubbed round the edges.

A Fine Romance...

The challenge over on the Crafty Individuals blog for this month is called 'A Fine Romance' so I just had to have a bit of fun with these Alice Palace stamps:

Who could resist these two?!
Stamps used: CI-370, CI-381 and the stars and text from CI-374.

Craft Barn Class

I've got another class at the Craft Barn next Sunday 2 March using one of my all time favourite Crafty Individuals stamp sets CI-395:
                                                       CI-395 - 'Build a Meadow' Art Rubber Stamps, 137mm x 96mm

We're going to make five different cards based round the 'Build a Meadow' theme. Here are a couple to whet your appetite:

If you want to come and have a go, I think there are a couple of spaces left.

Craft Stamper Blog your Favourite Product....

This is a new thing over on the Craft Stamper Blog. Each month a Designer will be asked to blog their favourite product. Well I had great difficulty finding just one favourite product (I mean there are just so many!) but in the end I chose Stampbord and here's what I made.

First I chose the alcohol ink colours:

Then dropped them on to the Stampbord tile:

Add a little blending solution:

then dab off some colour to lighten if you wish:

Next I used a window cut to the size of the Stampbord tile to decide which bit of the Crafty Individuals stamp CI-357 to use:

Ink the stamp up with black StazOn and press the Stampbord down onto the rubber:

It should look like this:

Then get out your scrapey tool and get etching!

Finish with embellishments:

New Lynne Perrella....

Hooray! The new Lynne Perrella stamps from PaperArtsy are fantastic and I've been lucky enough to have a play with them before the Stitches Trade Show this weekend. These are the sets that I used:

Here are some of the samples I've made - these all use Portfolio crayons, acetate and Fresco paint on the back. The colour scheme was orange and blue:

These next samples use stencilling and Distress inks:

I haven't overdone the embellishments as I wanted the stamp images to stand out. I think you'll agree, these
stamps are wonderful!
They'll be available in stores after the Trade Show along with lots of other new PaperArtsy products: stencils, Fresco paints, JOFY stamps, Darcy stamps, Lin Brown stamps plus a new stamp designer, Ellen Vargo. Lots and lots of lovely stuff!

A little bit of LP...

Lynne Perrella that is!
This is just a piece of work using LP010 and Distress markers - it's the same technique that I used in February's Craft Stamper :

A little bird tells me there'll soon be some new LP stamps coming out, along with JOFY and Eclectica. Keep an eye on the PaperArtsy website.
