What a hoot....

Have you seen these beautiful owls from Crafty Individuals yet? Whooo could resist them?

I've used them in a couple of projects on glossy card. The detail's amazing:

This one's edged with a tiny flower stamp and delicate leaf  from CI-395 Build a Meadow and then layered up onto brown card.

This second one uses one of the latest background stamps that I use all the time, CI-436:

Twinchies...

Please note: Inky Fingers Club this Wednesday is not going to be Miniature Art. Instead we're going to try out the new Irresistible Sprays by Tsukineko.

Miniature Art is now on Wednesday 30 September and here's another peek at what we'll be doing:

We'll be making about eight tiny projects in all.

Dinky!

Just had to post a pic of the first piece of miniature art I've made for Inky Fingers Club at The Craft Barn next Wednesday 26 August:

Working on a small scale is really fun and I've got lots more projects ongoing.

Ho! Ho! Ho!

Yes, I know I'm early, but I just had to post a pic of this Christmas Stocking that I've decorated for a class at The Craft Barn in September:

Forget the pillowcase, this is a very large stocking, for a very large foot and we're going to use image transfer with TAP paper, So Soft fabric paints, stamps, stencils etc. etc.:

I've also left room for a greeting or a name if you wish.
Now, this is just one side of the stocking - the other side is completely different. You'll be able to choose which design you like best and I'll pre-print the TAP accordingly.

So, if you fancy some fun, come along and join us on Saturday 19 September and get your Christmas started.

A little bit late....

Sorry, I meant to post this before I went away, but time got the better of me! This was what we were doing in our last Inky Fingers Club session at The Craft Barn:

We were making our own stencils using hand cutting, die cutting, punches etc. and then decorated a canvas board with Brushos, tissue paper, gesso and more.

I just had to show you the canvases that everyone made as they really were fantastic - all different, all their own interpretation. These are they, in various stages - the first two are starting by laying down the Brushos:

The rest are further along:

Lovely!
The next Inky Fingers is on Wednesday 26 August and we're going to be doing 'Miniature Art', so if you want to come along just contact The Craft Barn.

Thanks for loking!
